There was a big crowd at the Sydney Stadium on Saturday evening last, the attraction being the meeting between feather-weight champion Syo. Godfrey and the Westralian aborigine, "Sandy 11 McVea. As Godfrey exceeded the weight limit, the championship was not Involved, The B weights were: Godfrey, 9st lib; McVea, Bst 91b. The police intervened m the eleventh round, and .Godfrey received the decision. - • . The aborigine was totally outclassed, except m the seventh round when he severely punished Godfrey, but with that exception, the "animated <liair-pin" was totally outclassed, and was severely punished.
