Who Pulls the Wires?
The dictatorial attitude of the Wool Barons and the unchecked rapacity of the Snipping Ring are causing thou ghtful people to wonder if these are not "the power behind the throne" m New Zealand politics.
"This show's a vory funny thing" Hear young New Zealand say, "These puppets dance a merry fling, Their antics are quite gay. But what I'd really like to know Is what is it that makes 'em go?"
"Therta's more m this than meets the eye; Who pulls the wires and strings Which mako tho puppets gaily fly And act like human things? 'Tie all a game of bluff, I know; Who are the blokes behind this show?"
