TWO WOMEN
Committed for Trial • (From "Truth's" Dunedin Rep.) , Last Monday, before Mr. J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., Ethel Eadie and Jane Hughes, both married women, were ■jointly charged with that on or about • December 13 they did unlawfully use an instrument upon Victoria Hughes to procure .the latter's miscarriage. After hearing the evidence, the S.M. committed the accused for trial. Both pleaded not guilty, and reserved their j defence. ■ ■ ' •
