JOHNSTON v. JOHNSTON.

Ellen Skidaddles. John Steven Johnston, farmer, Awamokt>, petitioned for dissolution of his marriage on the ground of desertion. Ellen Connie Johnston having taken it into her head to leave him all alone. Lawyer McGregor, for petitioner, said the parties were married on February 2, .1900. There were no children of the marriage. For six years they had lived together on the farm at Awamoko. They separated m July, 1906, respondent having made a practice of continually deserting her home. She left of her own accord and would not return. In May of the following year she took all her belongings away. She was now residing at Timaru.
