where he found her sitting on a seat with McDonald. Thompson told her to consider the children if she would not consider him, and, although she "would not listen at first, she eventually camo back to town with him; McDonald' also returning on the same car. Arriving home, Fanny told her husband that she hated him and wished she was free so that she could I go to McDonald. Finally she cleared out from the Scott-street ranch on May 11, and later, "from information received," her husband went to a Mrs. Neville's house, m Trafalgar-street, St. Albans", and found Fanny and McDonald living there. Thompson asked the serpent if he would sign A CONFESSION OF IMPROPRIETY, and ho consulted Mrs. Thompson, who refused to do so, because sho said her husband only wanted to drag her "good" name down and take the child from her. On the night of June 25, Thompson, after satisfying himself that the Nevilles were from the Trafalgar-st. house, went there with his brother-in-law and watched the place from 6 p.m. until about ten o'clock, during which time he saw respondent and\ co-re, come to the door to see the Salvation Army. Tho watchers also heard the front and back doors locked, and saw all the lights m th.c house "doused." They then went nearer and heard ■whispering m the bedroom. .Witness assured himself that respondent and co-respondent .were the only people m the house at that time. Walter Wright, petitioner's brother-in-law, gave corroborative evidence concerning what transpired at the Trafalgar-street house on the night of Juno 25. Joseph Benson, a railway porter, residing at Scott-street, Sydenham, stated that while Thompson was In the hospital, McDonald had visited Mrs. Thompson at her home and had left there AS LATE AS MIDNIGHT. Witness had also seen McDonald and "Mrs. Thompson riding together on the one bicycle, McDonald riding ordinarily and Mrs. Thompson riding on the bar • In front of him. This was enough for his Honor, who scissored off a decree, on the usual conditions.
