AT THE STADIUM.
An Off Saturday Night. Cole Fills a Vacancy and Wins. (By Special Cable.) / _— — . The scrap promised for Saturday night last was America v. England, representatives being Eddie Moy and Llew Edwards. Apparently, the fight fans were not keen on the match, and the usual ringsiders rolled up. However, when the time came along, It was found that Moy exceeded his stipulated weight, whereupon Edwards refused to go on with the game, and a substitute had to be found. The substitute waa found In the person of Jack Cole, his weight being given as lOst 71b, as against Moy's 10st Cole was chosen becauso on the previous' Monday evening he got a rank decision from' Referee Fred Baker, over the smart Queensrander, Owen Cairns. In his bout with Moy, which was of a dull description, there being too much clinching, and little damage done, tho American won fully 14 rounds. Threo rounds were credited to Cole, while the remainder were even — and dull , Referee Scotfs decision was as bad as that given by< Baker on the previous Monday.
