John Mason portrays with great force and dramatic discretion this forger, whose clever pen works so much harm even to his beloved, and whjqh finally 'writes. with his heart's blood as t'were, his own punishment. This picture makqs interesting watching, and the audience doesn't get a chance to think of mundane things, so gripping is it. The film ends m a surprisingly dramatic climax. The supporting items are all "King's quality" material.
