Better than Tatt's
The Lact Chancoc
Those who have omitted to send for a ticket m Southland's monster Art Union, promoted to raise money for the New Zealand Wounded Soldiers' Fund, have still the privilege to do so — but, there's no time to waste! "Do it now!" is the command. The Art Union's illustrated advertisement appears m this week's "Truth" for the last time, and the person, singrle or married, who can look upon the jilctures of the fine four houses which have been allocated as the first, second, third, and fourth prizes, without coveting one at the risk of losing half r a-crown, must be a wowser. . Three new motor cars and other valuable prizes are included m the list of chances m which a half-crown ticket participates. Further particulars can be read m the advertisement, which also contains an application form for tickets. The form is simple to fill m and to mail, with postal note or stamps, to Mr. B. Sutherland, Box 377, Wellington. Those living near or far away can rely on receiving an honest deal from Mr. Sutherland, who is a ' member of the Railways clerical staff. He gives his services free to the cause of the wounded soldiers. All moneys received after October 14, the last day for the sale of tickets, will be returned to senders. If speculators act promptly — do it now — no application need be too late. Arrangements have been made so that residents of the Glsborne district will not be left out of this good thing. Miss Barnes, florist, of Gisborne the Golden, has been authorised to supply applicants with tickets.
