The Alice Parkinson Case

Public Meeting on Thursday Night,

At tho Wellington Town Hall

Next Thursday evening, at the Wellington Town Hall, the citizens of Wellington, particularly those m sympathy with the movement for a remission of tho sentence of imprisonment for the term of her natural life imposed on Alice Parkinson, will be given an opportunity of expressing their sympathy. A public meeting of protest has been convened, and addresses will bo delivered by Mcsdnmcs Donaldson and Moore and Messrs. 15. J. Dolan (counsel for Alice Parkinson), IT. E. Holland and others. .Musical selections will bo rendered by the Waterside Workers' Band. A collection to defray expenses will be taken up during the evening. This course Is rendered necessary owing to Ihe action of the City Council refusing the free use of the Town Hall to the citizens of Wellington.
