Fitz lookod anxious as the round closed. Round'B.-- Fit* dashed m, and Bartlott ducked, and sont a full right to Fitz's dial. Fitz forced Bartlett to tbo ropes repeatedly. Round 6. — Bartlett got his left In several times. Fltz'a guard was weak, but ho did some good back-stepping. Round ondod m favor of Bartlott. Round 7. — Thore was a deal of clinching, and sovoral orders wero given to broak. Even round. Round 8. — A good awing to tho faco

Ftound 9. — Fitz thought it time to try. a left, and he swung a good one to the side'of the head. Round 12. — Fitz sent m a harmless right, and Bartlett retaliated with a right that hurt. Fitz sent m"a left, but he was hitting Bartlett's gloves and back nearly all the time.

Round 13.— Bartlett sent m a beautiful left, followed by a right that opened the other side of Fitz's face. Fitz -.did 'a lot of clinching to save time, and he got badly punished, and looked beaten.

Round 14.— Bartlett doing all the work, with Fitz dcSng his best to get out* of the way.

Round 15 and last — Bartlett did practically what he liked. Fitzsimmons was vety game, but it availed little. Bartlett was declared the winner. -

The battle ' was fought •m a good spirit throughout, and Bartlett hugged Fitz affectionately when tho undoubted verdict was given. The crowd cheered wildly, and went away satisfled that they had seen one of the best fights m remembrance. Bartlett did not show signs of a mark or a bruise, but -Fitz's features bore a rather sorry appearance.
