At the Sydney Stadium last Saturday, night, 10,000 people attended to witness the lightweight contest between Bert McCoy aad Pal. Brown (America). After going the .full numfcerof rounds McCoy won the referee's decision by a. fjood margin. It. xvasV'a" great battle throughout, the winner proving^ too hard, 'clever, and experienced , for the Yank, whose rushes and tremendous swings his skill discounted!. * Brown fought a game battle, . and was always I dangerous.
