TOWN HALL.

The Wanderers.

Mr George Stephenson's clever and artistic costume comedy company, the Wanderers, conclude an all too brief, but deservedly successful, season, this (Saturday) evening, at the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall. The Wanderers present an unique, clever, and diverting entertainment. Bach turn is artistic, and Wellington has this week been given a treat. The star of the combination is undoubtedly Miss Phyllis HopwoodFoldi, a vivacious and versatile lady, whose songs and stories at the piano revive memories of that great monologuist, Melb. B. Spurr. TJnfortu-

When the bugle gives its blast, And the bullets hail hard and fast ; When the country wants its man, Count on the O'Sullivan, Looks a sojer every inch To lead a charge would not flinch. nately, however, Miss HopwoodFoldi is limited to time, and, one is hardly able to properly appreciate her merits. The jester of the troupe is Mr Leslie Holmes, and Wellington has not had such a' comedian for many a day. The season concludes this evening, when the special feature will be the Harem Skirt Brigade, The air-ems, we understand, are from the original pattern, and are entirely new to anything yet seen m this gay city. There ought to be a big house at the Concert Chamber this evening. The Wanderers deserve well of Wellington amusement seekers.
