Inter-State Rugby.

Since the departure of the Mew Zealanders, Americans, and Maoris, the JNew South Wales Rugby Union have sent a team to Brisbane to again measure strength with Queensland, and, incidentally, to try to give "febe Northern invaders a set-back. T,wo matches were played, the first being won by Mew South Wales by 11 to 3, and the second also -falling to them by 21 to 6. The caftle- ' man is discreetly silent about/ attendance, or anything else except bare results. Judging by the amount- of "star" football attractions that have been shoved on to the Australian public this season, one would think they would be thankful for the curtain to ring down for an intexsai.
