You, Fido, stand indicted That on February second You did, or did intend, (As near as can' be Tcckoaed) . • To walk m the OctAgon On the right-hand side thereof, Though the by-law. makes you walk On the left-hand side whereof. You are furthermore indicted That you did of malice PREpense, Fail to show al ight before you' Which 1 d not 1 ye cost you THREEpence; On to which is lurtj^er stated TEat you flew along* so slickly, That it couldn't be contended That your liver or legs were sickly. Qn to which is superadded 'That. you went at such a rate That His Majesty's liege subjects Feared to meet a break-neck fate. For all of which, you, Pido, Must, pay me half-a-crown. Time' ! D— - — you ! You must do three months Unless you pay it down.
