The pitfalls for the poor printer are many, and it's a poor day when there isn't something m the papers to make a fellow be guilty of something between a faint smile and an attack of apoplexy. There are certain familiar pitfalls into which printers seem to delight to drop, one of these beine the use of "formcrlv" for "formally" ; and the "Otago Daily Times" raised a suspicion of a small smile -when it recently said that something had had been "formerly and definitely decided at last Council meeting."
