One James McMee struck a five bob fine at the Dunedin Police r Court on Monday, as the result of the vagaries of the patient quadruped who pulls him about the place m a gig. James, it appears, went into a hotel for a drink, leaving the gig and horse m the road outside. But the moke apparently thought it should have been asked m also, and, when found by the police, was - standing on the pavement, looking wistfully towards where the long-sleevers abounded. i Hence the fine. .
