He wrote to her informing her that he was going to apply for a divorce, and she replied that he could: do what he liked, as an aunt of hers had died and left her a lot of money. George Loveday Williams, who employed Alexander at Te Amutu, gave evidence as to Annie clearing out. and going to the hotel. If Annie Elizabeth had returned, he would have known of it. His Honor granted a decree nisi to be made absolute m three months.
