BOXING.
THE HOROWHENUA BOXING ASSOCIATION.
We would draw the attention of , all amateur competitors to the fact that entries for the above tourney close on Saturday, 14th inst. This Association iis noted for the treatment of visiting competitors, and "Truth" has no doubt that the next tournament will be a greater success than ever. Levin is not a very large town, but the enthusiastic sports there have arranged to provide a purse of £40 for Jack Griflin and R. 1 Turner, the contest to take place en the second evening of the tourriey. This match is creating much interest, and should be a great contest.
