QUEENSLAND JUBILEE . CARNIVAL.
The Jubilee Carnival is attracting a large number' of visitors from aX parts of Australasia, and is offering, a unique opportunity of visiting the many interesting places m the State. The Railway Department have offered special inducements to tourists to visit a country which is rich m scenery and beauty spots. A trip into the Worth Coast" would enable visitors to See some of the finest scenery m the State. The route is from- Central Station through »NtuKfah, Fillmere, Baldhills, Strathpine, and North Pine through Caboolture Valley io the mountains called the Glass Houses by Captain Cook. A track has 1 been cut to the' summit of one of these mountains called Beerbtirrum and the view is^ arable compensation for the climb.- From Latidesbofough to Nambour t&e- scenery is Beautiful, and the latter' place isf a prosperous sugar district. vandma can be visited and the ascent of Mount Cerium will repay tourists for the- jotutey,for from the top of it a maghificeHC view is obtained. Eumundi is' 76 miles irbfn Brisbane, and Ivenilworth can be visited. Nocsa, a, seaside resort, and Kin Kin Scrubs, a, fine grass district, are all Within easy reach. The time table arrangements permit of all the places being visited on any day of the Week-, as well as Ipswich, Laidley, Gatton, and^Toowoomba. "Truth" feels confident that visitors will make the best of their opportunities to see Queensland m iver jubilee year.
