Charles Cooper, senr., 'and Charles Cooper, junr., were arrested for excessive beer at : Christchurch t'other day— apparently father and son. They were discovered m Manchester-street by Copper Dunlop m a helpless condition, and must have been celebrating a long family separation and reconciliation. Presumably Charles junior was the member of the family who returned and had the fatted beer pulled lor him, for he had £8 odd m his possession, whereas Dad was discovered to have a measly .two j shilling^ ■ >
