HIS MAJESTY'S.
The Royal Pictures.
Crowds still continue to roll up to His Majesty's Theatre, where the Royal Picture Syndicate provide a moving picture show, which for attractiveness, variety, ■and constructiveness is hard to beat. Manager Donovan, having recovered from his recent serious indisposition, is again on deck, and everything proceeds as smoothly as a well-ordered machine.- Jferhaps the most attractive, as. it is. the most comic and fascinating film shown during the present week is "Aunt Sally's Outing," which is atypical holiday picture and provokes endless roars of laughijfcr. A page for natural" history is exhibited m a series entitled "Festlin'g a' Spake," "whilst "Whaling Afloat and Ashore" gives, stay-at-home folk some idea of the dangers of this industry. A very pretty film, "A Collection of Postage Stamps," proves very acceptable, the figures .being represented by a ballet suited to the purpose. "Poor, Doggy" depicts the trials /of a French poodle,, which end happily fof the canine hero. The theatre has been packed every night. There will 1 be a matinee this afternoon, and the pictures will be exhibited again to-night. -
