HIS MAJESTY'S.
The Royal Pictures.
The programme provided at His Majesty's Theatre during the week by the Royal Picture Syndicate, has proved most'attractive, and the management h-as been able to record packed houses every night. Taken en the whole, 'the series are equal to anything previously exhibited, m Wellington, and keen appreciation was shown by the patrons of the theatre. "The Tale the Searchlight Told" is brimful of mirth, and is one of the finest pieces of animated picture work, which has been brought before the public. The various episodes of New York s tony seaside resort "Coney Island," are cleverly depicted, and this picture m itself is well worthy of the admission charged. "A Wonderful Fertiliser" is a particularly attractive film, and "The Lightning Barbers" series puts the auditnce' on good terms with themselves and everybody else. A story m pictures, "A Dumb Herb," is woven round a little girl and a retriever dog, the latter rescuing the former from a drifting boat. "The Pace on, the Bar-room Floor" introduces something new m the moving pic-' ture line, and points a moral. The series will be exhibited at the matinee this afttrnoon and' again to-night.
