IRRITATION OF THE SKIN. Ever have irritation of the skin? There are many. forms otit, any of them bad enough to tax your patience. Piles, a. plague of. the night, no rest for the sufferer from that complaint. Eczema too. Hives don't sound dangerous, but they cause much misery to those unfortunate enough to he troubled by them. Doan's Ointment Is a "wonder" for every torturing skin disease. No such trouble, can resist its healing, soothing influ- ' ence. Lots of people know this now. , Mrs S. B. Rob«r|son, Beach Road, ; Petone, Wellington, says :— "I suffered w-ith an obstinate skin trouble for years, and could never get any-, thing to do it good. I had begun to despair of ever, getting it cured, when 1 obtained a pot of Doan's Ointment at Fletcher's Pharmacy. This remedy proved perfectly effective, having quite cured me of all the pain an-d irritation. I have had no return of the troiible since." Doan's Ointment is a specific for every torturing skinsrouble, it is perfectly safe and very effective, and very often two or three pots will cure chronic cases which have resisted other remedies for years. Doan's Ointment is sold by all chemists and storekeepers at 3/ per pot, or will be posted ' on receipt of price by Foster-McClellan Co., ."76 Pitt-street, Sydney. But be sure you get DOAN'S. '
"How these Christians love one another I" Dunedin Presbytery had their Hie'land blood roused recently so that they nearly came to blows, and as tho dirty kirk linen was waslicd m. public, Rev. A. Cameron (now filled with repentance and shame) maaes the following defiant apology m the "Star" and "Daily Times" :— "Allow me space for a few lines m connection with yesterday's meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery and Mr Sutherland's charge of wire-pulling.\ I feel that only harm can come from members of the Presbytery hurliL.3 names at one another, and w this respect 1 erred greviausly m describing Mr Sutherland's conduct as that of a coward. Mr Sutherland is no coward. What sealed his lips and prevented him from saying openly m the Presbytery what he has been saying to me m private I do not kaow. At the nexi meeting of the Presbytery I shall withdraw the offensive expression and apologise to Mr Sutherland for my hasty and ill-advised words. As the words I withdraw have appeared m your columns I think it right not to wait for a meeting of the Presbytery before withdrawing and apologising, hut to do so m this public manner and at the earliest opportunity.". What about Sutherland when he reads the remarks on the "apology" : "What sealed his lips and prevent- . Ed him from saying openly m the Presbytery what he has been saying of me m private," etc. ? Blood only can wipe out the insult. Let us pray. /
