JIM THE MILKER.
Yer would see m the morning tripe papers that the honorable Mr Lutse has threatened that, the fat man will go on strike. It would be a good thing if "they did, for. even,, iv this much, favored country the fat man is a curse to all respoctibie coves. The bosses wife said to me -the other nigM Jim , just fancy a gang ,of fat man'on strike', it is all very well for a coot' like Luke to . talk like this, oh yes, the same chap -draws) about three hundred quids a year for being' appointed to ye Upper House, the Lord only , knows how. Yet he takes the pelf and gives no value In return. And this is- the type of the fat men on strike. It is all very well for well for' humanity if men like Luke were put m their proper place, viz.,. sweeping the streets. Compare a chap like Luke to a good oo ve like Rigg. No doubt Luke is after the dollars, some people call 'it loot, so Luke is after them. The difference between the two coves, is that Rigg wants justice, the. other cove don't want justice. ■M,ay-1«-Luke grounds his claims on; the fact that 'he :b.as! a, long wowser beard the same as Ginger. Other chaps -think: that their brains has gone to their whiskers, and it seems so when two such idiots are allowed out of a straight jacket. But they are both under the nobody can do it but me act, so yer can't do anything. The bosses wife tells, me that *if —yer wanted men of the same class yer could get them at fifteen bob a week, and they would .be well paid, as they .don't do any worrick. Yer will see coots like them In some of the museums, but- they are labelled as high-class . apes (anthropoid). Yes, dear woman, \l have seed them m gljjss cases all over the. world, but getto sleep and don't worry, yer are taking me attention off Luke. What is this joker Luke always roaring about ? Viz., to wit, Great Alnrum amongst employees, the poor employer is .tyeing ruinsd, he will have to go on strike like the bakers. Well old I^ulte knows that he is • romancing., You catch the fat man going on strike, not him as long as be can plunder the public at large with a free hand there is little fear 'of this cunning joker going en strike. Strike --li The only strilte that they know is to strike the public with the" big club of capital. Oh. well some day they will get .their reward m the lake of fire and brimstone which they are always yapping about, and it would be no more than they deserve. An enemy of the people is an enemy of God, and every fat man from the north to the south pole is an enemy of the people. Therefore all such loafers who prey on other people should J;e pu^li'ly fogVed, say with fifty lashes on the bare back,on Lambton yuay m front of all coves who have the fear of God m their eves.
