THEATRE ROYAL.
World Wide Pictures.
Vaudeville, as far as the Puller. Management is concerned, ended at the Theatre Royal on Thursday evening last, when good-bye was said to some of the artists and good-riddance to others. However, a change from vaudeville wjifl no-t come, amiss to Wellingtoniaiis, 'and that popular form of public amusement provided by moving pictures is m future i to prevail at the Theatre Royal, and it has only to be mentioned that the Fullers have gained fame m New Zealand /with their moving Myriorama Pictures to; give public assurance that only the la^'?3t and the best of films will be used. Last night the moving picture season was eirtseirea upon and the crowded ' house that v gree ted the performance is an indicatioii- of ' the hold the F.ullers have on Royal piteous. A large programme p£ the latest pictures from JfcJurope and America were shown. All are brand-new, and as the JBi'ograph is m the hands of capable mechanics it can easily be imagined that the pictures are clear, Oickerless and faultless. The programme includes such items as "Romeo arid Juli«t," "The American Officers' "Visit to Rotorua," "Trip m a Submarine," ''The Doil-making Industry," "The Pony Express," '^Piabolo," "MysterioiUs i*'lanies," "Walter the Postman/ "Mandrel," arid "The Lady Model." The World Wide Pictures have certainly come %o stay Jin \yel.lington. Popiular prices prevail, and as Ben Fuller assures "Tru^h?' that a liberal bill of fare will be presented every week, that there wjUl be plenty of variety, that everything m the picture garden will be bloonding, this paper "expresses its candid opinion that crowded houses will be the nightly result. .
