A naughty ' dame wearing gold-mounted pince-nez on her intellectual proboscis was cycling down High-street, Christchurch, when her ri^hly-comparisoned hand-bag slid into contact with the* front wheel. Then was distinctly heard the sound of bottles chipping musically together as the aristicratic personage pedalled through the crowded street and narrowly escaped collisipn with sundry vehicles, which she ran into m her blind confusion at sight of the grinning populace.
