HIS MAJESTY'S.

The Royal Pictures.

Picture shows may come and go, but the Royal Pictures at His Majesty's look as if they are going on forever. The syndicate are now m their third month of possession of the Courtenay-Place theatre, and judging from the packed houses nightly they have taken an indeterminate lease. The mails every week bring fresh films, and the pictures this week are of an interesting nature. There was a complete change of programme on Wednesday night, the chief items being "The Arabian Legend," "The Astrologer's Dream," "The Suburbanite' Alarm," "Newly wed's Breakfast." Quite a pleasant evening can be spent at His Majesty's., the prices of admission being within the reach of all.

Virtue is its own reward. That is why so many old maids look as if they had been drinking vinegar all their lives. Sour grapes !
