Very liberal fellows the farmers. A Martinborough man engaged a man to milk his cows, by machine, at -5d a gallon. But he had to do fencing and draining besides, as well as any other work the boss thought fit, and he though i a bit. He got full of the job and chucked it and found himself short a month's pay. It is nossiMe that a Magistrate will act as' referee m the matter.
