A MIGHTY CLEANSER.
• ' . At the invitation of the management a representative of "Truth" visited the factory of the Horton's Magic Cleanser Co., m Ebor-street, during the week to witness an exhibition of the dirt removing qualities of this particular soap. T-hc -first experiment was with a handful of particularly dirty wool fresh from the sheep's back. With the application of a little of the cleanser and a rinse m cold water the wool appeared perfectly - white. Further tests were made with Japan black on the hands, coal tar on a piece of. cloth, ink or other, marks on a painted door, and grease stains on a pair of lady's gloves, all with the same effect—the cleanser eradicated the blemish. To prove that the compound has no . effect upon the colors of any fabric, a mixture of colored wools, pink; yellow and blue, were literally soaked m the cleanser, rubbed hard and rinsed and came out as perfect m color as they went m. After seeing these . experiments "Truth's" representative came away convinced that Horton's magic cleanser will clean anything bar a tarnished reputation. It is the invention of a native born New Zealander, too; I more power to him. It is potent enough to clean a wowser's sox. 'i -'
