OPERA HOUSE.
"His Highness the Bey." Pollard's joyful juveniles retake possession of the Opera- House this evening, when "His Highness the Bey" will be reproduced. His Highness is a skit on Turkish affairs and is a bright, merry, musical comedy, and the juveniles, under Mr Tom Pollard's careful direction,, give a meritorous performance. The piece abounds m new songs and witticisms, the music is charming, the costumes gorgeous, while the ballets are things of iow. The juveniles are here for a three weeks' season } and their last stay m the city saw the Opera House nightly packed, and "Truth" sees no reason why previous records will not be eclipsed. Mr Pollard has got some really clever youngsters m his combination, and their training is very creditable to the . director. At anyrate, the performance given sneaks for itself, and "Truth" trusts that "His Germanic Highness," with aU his silly nonsense, will hold a great levee this evening: and the evenings to come.
