OPERA HOUSE.

MacMahon's Pictures.

The moving picture season inaugurated by the Messrs MacMahon will be closed after this evening's exhibition. There is to be a jnatinee at 2.30 this afternoon, and the final exhibition will be given this evening. The pictures shown by this management are certainly the best and clearest ever presented. There is plenty of variety ; there is tragedy and humor, m fact, everything that can possibly be photographed is thrown ori the sheet. However, to mark the close of a successful season, the management last evening presented a geand double bill v and, m response to universal desire, the great pictorial drairia, "Robbery Under Arms" was shown, , in conjunction with the large bill of picture fare that had been presented during the week. The picture, "Lost m the Alps" is an exceptionally interesting one. "The incorrigible card-play-ers," "Easter Eggs." "The Electric Belt."" "The Ghased Policemen." "The Inexperienced Chaff cur," "The Band Competition;" arid numerous others are all interesting and mirthprovoking, while thc illustrated songs sung by Miss Lorraine Tansley are exnuisite. Those who have not so far seen these moving pictures need to get a maich o.n, as. only two more performances are to be given, viz.. the ihatinee this afternoon, and to.-niglrfc.
