It is five years last Saturday since the s.s. Elingamite was wrecked on the Three Kings, bound from Sydney to Auokland. Numerous attempts have been made to recover the treasure which went dowr v/ith the Elingamite, but, so far, little success has been achieved. The first attempt proved fruitless, the diver going over the wreck and failing to find any trace of the treasure.
