THE PRICE OF MEAT.

At a meeting of the directors of .the Wairarapa Co-operative Butekely Co., 26 Vivian-street, it was decided "NOT TO RAISE THE PRICE OF MEAT," but to continue to sell the very primest of meat at a penny per pound under any otker butchers m Wellington. It might be mentioned that repeated overtures have been made to the Company by. the other master butchers to joia their ranks to enable them to raise the price of meat, but needless to say, without success. Such induce^ ments m price, together with the foregoing facts, should ensure thtf W.C.B. Co. increased business. .
