In a police court case heard one day last week, and reported m this paper's last issue, wherein one William Woods was asked to bury the hatchett with one Mrs Alice Evans, that lady was made to say that she knew a Mrs Stevens who used to be Tessy Russell. Mrs Evans' husband wants "Truth" to correct an error, as he says she (Mrs Evans) said she knew Mrs Stevens and not Tessy Russell, as Mrs Stevens never was Tessy Russell and is not likely to be. Of course, if Mrs Evans doesn't know Tessy, and evidently doesn't want to know her, and as Tessy Russell seems to have .not mixed up m a strung folrl, "Truth" corrects the error, being ever ready to " 'bilge a lydy," '
