The fortnightly meeting of the Pacific Lodge, No. 8, U.A.D., was held at the Druids' Hall, Taranakistreet, last Monday evening, A.D. Bro. McHugh presiding. Twelve new members were iniated, and 14 proposed for next lodge night. . •PJ motion expressing condolence with the relatives of deceased Brother Mackay, Past Grand Secretary, was carried, and the lodge as a mark of esteem, decided to wear mourning for three months. Bro. K.uch also played, on the piano, the "Garland of Flowers."
