Came one with face of woe, And wowserv mien. What moved the maiden so ? What had she seen ? "Alas, I see again That sight so scary ; What face that's pwned of men Is like the face of Carey ? '" .'Twill haunt me till I die, That night-mare 'chiv.' In peace I cannot lie. Better not live. "Oh, Mr Carey, do Try and change it ; With something at the Zoo. You nrigiht arrange it." Shuddering the maiden fled. Bewailing her case; But till the day she's dead, She'll see that face. And when this world of sin She'll quit for ever. From her grave she'll she it grin,- --' Twill quit her never.
