Thorndon Dramatic Society.

The Thorndon, Dramatic Society will make its first appearance, at the Opera House, on Wednesday and Thursday evening next, when H. J. Byron's well known four-act comedy drama "Blow for Blow" will be produced. Mr Harry Norman, .who for 18 years was with Mr Bland Holt, is to be stage manager for the production, which is sufficient to guarantee the piece being well mounted. • The performance is m aid of the Society for tbe Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Tbe box plan will be opened on Monday at the Dresden, and as tlie booking is likely to be very brisk those wishing for good seats are advised- to book at once..
