In this issue Messrs W. H. Turnbull and Co, the well-known auctioneers, advertise that on Thursday next they will submit the whole of Mr- Walter Jorgenspn's racing string for absolute sale, together with the racing gear and all appurtenances. The. following are the horses to be' offered :—

The three-year-old bay filly, Grand Mirella traces back-to the No. 5 family. She* is by Gipsy Grand— Turedia, by Stepniak— Fallacy. She was bred at Mr. J. B. Reid's establishment, and was purchased by her present owner as a yearling. There is a half-brother to Strathfillan, un-nanied, >by Daumt-r-Falka, and also a yearling by Daunt from Wave Queen. This i& a really nice commanding lookiaig colt, and he should brim-a; a good price.- The brood mares Wave Queen (dam Coxswain) by Natator—Fairy Queen, and Falka, by St. George— Melusina, by Tasman— Nautilius dam pt-Cynisca, a treble winner of the Wellington Cup, make up the catalogue. ' The auctioneer anticipates a large. attendance, as the sa-le is absolutely .without reserve.
