A.D. 1258. "Fader ure m heunel, halleweide beoth thi neune, cumen thi kuneriche thi wille beoth idon m heune and m. The euerych dayly bried gif ous thilk dawe. And worzif ure dettes as vi vorzifen ure dettoures. And lene ous nought into temptation, bot delyvor of uvel. Amen." A.D. 1300. "Fadir our m hevene, Halewyd by thi name, thi kingdom come. Thi wille be done as m hevene and m ertbe. Oure urehe dayes bred give us to-day. And forgive us oure dettes. as we forgive our dettoures. And lede us not into temptation. :Bote delyvere us of yvel. Amen." A.D. 1582. "Ovr father which are m heaven, sanctified be thy name. Let they kingdom come. Thy will be done, as m heaven m earth also. Give vs to-day our super substantial bread. And lead vs not into temptation. But delieur us from evil. Amen." A.D. 1641. "Our father which are m heaven, hallowed by thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done m earth as it is m heaven. Gieue vs this day our dayly bread. And forgive vs our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lede vs not into temptation, but deliver vs from evil. For thine is the kingdome, and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen."
