'All lovers of the game m 'Australasia will regret to hear that Reginald L. Baker, champion middleand heavy-weight amateur boxer, who went to England to compete for the world's amateur championship, to be decided this month, as Australia's accredited representative, has been stricken down, m London, with enteric fever and will be quite unable to take part m the championship struggle. It is a 1 great pity, for "Snowy's" success was almost a foregone conclusion.
