FOOTBALL.
All South African centres have signified their willingness to • subscribe to the required guarantee, £3000, for the' Corinthian Association F.C. tour m South Africa next season, and a programme of 26 matches, including two test games, has been provisionally drawn up.
There is trouble m the camp of the Welsh R.U, The Cardiff Club, at the instigation, so it is said, of an insignificant minority of their committee, sent a circular letter to the clubs affiliated to the Welsh Union, inviting; them to a meeting to discuss the necessity and means for reconstructing the governing body. . The genesis of the idea is reported to be a personal grievance, while it is also said that the majority of the committee have no sympathy whatever with the movement. The official action of the club, however, is unfortunate, and places Cardiff Club m a peculiar position. Their mistake has been quickly taken advantage of, for three clubs, m accordance with the by-lawr. of the Union, have signed a requisition for a special general meetintr of the Union to take into consideration the issuing of suoh a circular letter. The humor of the situation has been increased by the agitators mistaking the requisition as favoring theiri cause. . .
