A scarecrow clad m Yellow skin , Went by at a shuffling pace ; Its look and leer and horrid grin Were writ on a Chinese face. * 'Twas the smile of the Yellow Thing, The heathen Chow celestial, The Opium fiend and Fan-Tan Ching, The fornicator bestial.
