She has had an offer to come out. . The first Australian company that has appeared m the present Princess' Theatre,: Melbourne, is Charles Holloway's, now showing there. 'Miss' Edna May has ,Deen getting a little, boom from the fact that she ordered, a special train to take her, at a cost of £32, from Harlow to Overstrand, as her motor broke down.; Mr. A'dani Cowan's next trip to New Zealand will be his 49th. He wanders over there as manager of the Willoughiby-Ward-Palotta Company,, with "The Man from Mexico. Both these old showmen look hale and hearty, and, with plenty of good literature and a good supply of tobacco, they seem to enjoy life m its "prime," as "Daddy" Bates cails it. Dick Kenna has secured the show dates at Bendigo that were "pencilled" by Parker Hall at Easter time. Pat Scully, Andy Hadgr, and Uert Howard are connected with the show. Maggie Moort ts m New York — Harry R. Roberts' is m London. Harry has pinned his faith on a new, and claimed to be highly interesting drama, with . which he intends to re-introduce himself to us next year. Florence Gleeson, who is appearing witli great success as Na-u-ltich m "The Squaw Man," is the daughter of thft ' late Sergeant Uleeson, who was for a number of yeara m the Victorian Police Force.
