It is about time that the Government shut down on the silly egg-lay-ing competitions by granting them a subsidy of £250.. The Ohristchurch Show has been cut down by £100, and there has been, a straight hint given that m future no more "cash will be available. If people want hens to lay they will have to feed and coax them themselves. The sum of £250 would go a lone wav towards repairing a road m the back-blocks.
