The member foriHawera will introduce hiir Faifriers ' Bill to the House on Wednesday next and the •opinion is generally expressed that it will become law;. ' ■. .
Mr Hornsby's Quacks and Quackery Bill had a really good hearing during its first and second readings, the House being unanimous, m declaring against unqualified advertising specialists. In many places the Bill is altogether too drastic and will require a lot of knocking, into, shape when' in its Committee, stages.
Even if passed 'this session ' the Land Bill will not become law till next year, , and many mcan-bers a.re of the opinion that after tiae Bill comes out of Committee it will hardly be recognisable as the one formerly prepared by Mr McNab.
