I received a letter fromthe vendor's solicitors, telling me they were taking possession of the house. I went and offered them the purchase money, an<J. they refused to t * k ?, 1 - t -' * also ■wrote to Mr Grove, of Marton, and -fee did not reply to my letters, asking him to accept the purchase money. He told me m person afterwards, that he would not accept the purchase money. I served a writ on him m the Supreme Court, and the Chief Justice decided m favor of Grove, with costs against me. Now, Sir, I ask how is a poor man going to/make a home for himself and family If this is the law of the country ?
