Tho Fire Brigade received a call at 12.10 yesterday morning to a fire at 53 Main road, “Wadestown, to a wood and asbestos one-story five-rodmed residence owned and occupied by Mrs Edith Wicks. The building is n sured >n tho Alliance for £ISOO. and the contents are also insured in the Alliance for £llOO. Two rooms and contents were damaged by water and fire and the remaining rooms with contents were damaged by heat, sm >ke and water.
