DAYLIGHT SAVING
TRY, TRY, TRY AGAIN! The New Zealand sp«rt* Protection League will continue to give it# strongest support to the ayligbt 3AV>ng measure which wb| pearly placed on the Statute Bogle in the last session. An idea has been expressed that if the measure was placed in the hand# of a Minister it would give strength to it, and Mr T. K. Sldey, M.P., who has fathered the Bill for some years, is disposed to take that viewpoint, being prepared to yield the responsibility for presenting the measure if it will give it a greater cbance of success. Supporters of the Ri|l f however, feel that in view of the prospect# of success, it is o«*ly fair that Mr Sidey should take charge of the measure, and, if carried, should hold the honour of achievement after lighting for it for so many years. In these circumstance# it i# more that probable that the Bill will again be am charge of the hon. member.
