PEER’S SON GAOLED
THEFT OF MONEY. Australian and N.Z, Cable Associatiqff. (Received January 20, 11.35 p.m.) LONDON, January 19. The Hon. Lawrence Palk, son and heir of Lord Halden, was sentenced to four months’ in the second division. Palk disappeared mysteriously from a city office on December 28th with a sum of money that is alleged to belong to the office.
