MELBOURNE, January 20: Trades Union circles are negotiating pvith Labour Councils in alt States with the object of repudiating the Federal Gorei'iimoni's industrial delegation to the United States. The Federal Government has announced that the personnel of the industrial delegation proceeding to the United States will number eight, and consist of an equal number ot employers and. employees’ representatives. It will be charged with making a thorough investigation of the methods employed and the working conditions in the manufacturing industries, of the United States, and with furnishing a report thereon. The attitude of Labour is prompted by the refusal, of the Federal Government to accept the nomination of Mr J. Garden, of New South Wales Trades and Labour Cotincil, for membership of the delegation representing the employees.
